June & July Newsletter
Hi, neurotech enthusiasts from NYC and beyond👋
Who are we? We are NeuroNYC, and our mission is to cultivate the neurotech community within the NYC area. We bring together founders, researchers, clinicians, investors, operators, artists, and policymakers across the entire neurotech ecosystem; spanning BCIs, neuromodulation, digital health, AI-driven neuroscience, and more.
Our goal is simple: build a high-signal, human-scale community that helps neurotech move from the lab to real-world impact.
May and June Recap:
Thank you to everyone who joined us during NY Tech Week events. We loved bringing the neurotech community together in a fun, informal setting, with a little extra Knicks energy mixed in.
Margot Hanley and I (Fargol Yeganeh Fathi) alongside some of our NeuroNYC advisors and friends attended the 2026 Berkshires Brain Summit last week organized by Dragonfly 44 Capital and GreyMatter. This summit brings together leading investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, clinicians, and strategic partners for an intimate gathering focused on the future of neuroscience, neurotechnology, and mental health. Hosted at The Thyme in the Berkshires, the summit combined thoughtful discussion, scientific insight, and retreat-style connection across the brain health ecosystem.
Events:
3rd Annual Innovation in Neurosciences, July 17th: A symposium bringing together neuroscience leaders, acute care clinicians, and industry teams to explore the latest advances in cerebrovascular care, neuroendovascular surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, neuroimaging, neurotechnology, and neuropharmacology.
